Performing Experience

Jean-Christophe has performed in jazz festivals, concerts, educational demonstration/master classes, art festivals, dance productions, percussion conventions, religious ceremonies, musical theater, film, clubs and private events all over the US and Canada, as well as Morocco, Cuba, the Caribbean,  Israel and Ecuador.

He has had the honor or performing with such artists as:

Howard levy, Chicago jazz Ensemble , Lalo Schifrin, Michael Spiro, Mezcla, The Genesis world music ensemble, RhythmUnity ensemble,  Chevere, Chuchito Valdes,  Decidedly Jazz Dance Company



Recording and Video

As a freelance artist, Jean has been a part of many albums, videos, TV broadcasts and interviews.

He has been heard and seen on recordings, radio and TV in Canada, the U.S. and Israel, Europe and Ecuador.

Most recently, he has played on:

-World music album and tour documentary with Saffron Caravan (directed by Howard Levy)

-Cuban original music album with Angel de Cuba

-Multiple singles with remix project Mr. Egg Germ (with Rick Gehrenbeck)

-Latin debut album with Lise Gilley and Groupo Cha Cha

-Live video with Loide Jorge (Mozambique vocalist)
